Hope to see a post about our brazilian style here ;)

Danielle – Good idea – I’d love to do that! I’m not sure I got the best sense of Brazilian style overall since I was only in Rio (and mostly just the touristy areas)… Everyone tells me Sao Paulo is the big fashion city while Rio, especially Copacabana/Ipanema, is very casual. Would love to go back and see Sao Paulo (and, really, the rest of the country) someday!

São Paulo is surely a fashion city, but Rio’s citizen tend to reflect more their soul and life style on clothes, I think. Belo Horizonte deserves a special atention as fashion city as well. Hope you have enjoyed your time here!

Bruna – Thanks for clarifying! I did see some great outfits in Rio and definitely felt the laid-back beach vibe of the city in the clothes. And I’d love to visit Belo Horizonte someday – some of my friends went for a World Cup game and loved it!

Marian – Great point! I was referring to the video, not the song, being awesome in the first link – specifically I think it’s great that Laverne Cox was featured as members of the transgender community don’t feature enough in popular media. But you’re right, the song is problematic in the ways Buzzfeed mentioned, which somewhat undermines the awesome video.

My heart broke when I saw the link about Crumbs!
I decided to further look into it & turns out we need to thank the savior Marcus Lemonis for keeping Crumbs in business! Recent news in link below:
