I just love College Fashion, I have you on twitter, myspace and facebook. I should win this giveaway cause I was not a good fashionista until I started reading this blog and decided it would be my fashion inspiration. I’m starting freshman year of college in a few weeks and redoing my whole wardrobe…fashion is a new thing for me, but I love it, and really went out of my way to learn everything abou it. I’m still learning, and collegefashion.net has helped me in that. Part of it is because I think dressing well helps me improve my self-esteem and self-confidence…on top of that, I will be attending a well-known, prestigious college and whether or not people want to admit it, it is important to try to look the part. (I’m a poor, minority student, confident in my academics but not as confident in my looks and sense of style That’s why I’m working on it!.)
I’d love to win any one of these prizes, but I especially need a wallet. Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers so I would love to have even one of his items (because God knows I can’t afford it on my own.) I’ve actually been searching everywhere for a cute, affordable wallet but everything is either too expensive or cheap and not cute at all. Winning isn’t everything, but when it comes to Marc Jacobs and iTunes.. it’s pretty close! I am an incoming transfer student this year and really looking for a fresh start. Those are some awesome prizes. I would love to win because I am so passionate about fashion. I am a sophomore fashion design major at a liberal arts college. Our professors stress how important it is to for us to put a fashionable appearance forward always because it helps us to get noticed by employers and shows our true love of fashion. I love this because I love creating stylish outfits. However keeping up a stylish wardrobe for class, work, and partying can be hard work and hard on my bank account. I want to win because I think it would be great to receive these types of prizes. College has taken most of the money I have saved since I am an incoming freshman this year, I’ve always been a huge spender and i’m trying to learn to keep my money as a teenager and not go crazy on those new pairs of shoes. I LOVE COLLEGE FASHION. I tell all my girl friends about this site who are going to,or are in college! I am attending college as a freshmen in about two weeks and have read college fachion all summer to see what styles and dorm room stuff i should buy =] It has been great in answering my questions about everything from sweats and sweat shirts to college girl boots. [ side note: I just bought my first pair from Charolette Russe this weekend!] There are many different reasons why I love this site, but mainly I love all the postive feed from it. I would say I want to win this because my wallet just got beer spilled on it this weekend at a large music festival. The wallet still works clearly but, the smell of beer on my driver’s license isn’t always the best thing, I think. I love this website, I think I’d be a great candidate for one of these prizes!

I would love one of those wallets… the one I am using now is six years old, practically threadbare, banged up, and turned by the ravages of the inside of my purse to a very unflattering shade of charcoal (it used to be white canvas).

This site has been my number 1 resource for shopping, since this is going to be my Freshman year.
I would appreciate it so much if I won because my debit card number got stolen and some guy in Mexico tried to take $8,000 out of my account. Naturally, I don’t have $8,000, so it’s a nightmare working it all out with the bank, and I’m broke, so I haven’t been able to do the usual back to school shopping.
Because CF is so amazing I check it at least three times a day to see if there are any updates, even though I realize there probably wouldn’t be more than one, haha. The articles here have always been dead on and really helped prepare me for freshman year, too.

I’m going to Bryn Mawr College (yup, I’m a freshman and yay for it being my dream school) and have been trying to follow all your tips on cheap but fashionable finds but I’m seriously a poor college student. I was lucky enough to be accepted to my first choice university this past year, and I’m so excited that I’ll be leaving in under two weeks to start my new life there. However, besides all of the regular freshman year jitters, I have been growing increasing worried about my limited array of fashionable clothing and items to bring. Fashion is one of my first loves in life but my income does not exactly allow for me to indulge much–especially with this insane college tuition! Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite contempory designers and owning something of his would be incredible. Of course, the other prizes would also be great. I can’t even count the times I’ve window-shopped at Barneys or the hours I spend on ITunes (or the embarrassing amount of afternoons I’ve spent watching O.C. reruns on SOAPnet…)

As someone who has read your site since you first got it up and going and religiously checks for updates every other day, I am really excited about this :) I’ve never read ANYWHERE- and that includes Cosmo, Seventeen, Glamour, etc- better articles on what is appropriate and stylish not to mention budget-friendly for college girls. This site is awesome!
I personally have been in a cash pinch recently so any of the fabulous prizes would suit me and make my week (especially since I move in in ten days) but BNY is my number one place to shop online and a $25 gift card would be absolutely amazing to win. I’ve worked all summer, but taking out $6,000 in college loans a year has me on the safe side when it comes to fashion spending.

Fashion has been something that I fell in love with at such an early age. Fashion is something I fell in love with at a young age! It has always let me express my individuality througout the tough high school years. Living in a small Wisconsin town, sometimes it was tough to always wear exactly what I wanted, for people in my hometown aren’t always accepting of new fashions. I would like to win because clothing means so much to me and despite the fact that I’ve been working my butt off at BCBGMaxAzria this summer, all of my money is going away from fabulous clothes and towards books and living expenses/tuition! I worship wonderful clothes, and it would be totally awesome to have the opportunity to actually own some.
I have been saving my tips all summer for a back to school wardrobe for my senior year. I wanted to buy clothes keeping in mind that I would be graduating soon and moving on the the working world, so I made notes on basic pieces that could also, in the future, be spiced up for office wear.
But my car’s breaks broke. And my mom retired so my college account is no longer being funded and I have to pay for my last term myself.
So no clothes for me. I got a black turtleneck, the end.
That’s why I would be happy to win.

I know I’d certainly love to win! I’ve definitely seen the value and awesomeness of college fashion, and as a new student to the college life, I’ve love to give my fashionability a boost! A lack of funds (ah, the big-broke phase of life) certainly makes such a thing difficult. I’ve never been able to be truly fashionable in life (horrible, I know!); in that area, I’d consider myself a late bloomer, so I view this as great time to get started finally!
It would be fab if I won a Marc Jacobs wallet!! I personally don’t really have the money to afford designer duds. A wallet would be the perfect thing to have especially because my wallet is entering its last days - it’s pretty worn. Why do I want to win? Well, I’m starting my freshman year in college in just 2 short weeks, and I am a HUGE fashion guru. I love seeing who’s wearing what, and deciding what I like for myself, as well as what would look good on me or somebody else. Well, going to a private high school for four years–where I wore the same uniform every day–has kind of restricted my fashion sense from revealing itself. Now, as I am NOT going to have to wear a uniform in college, I fully intend to show the world what I’ve got. I’ve always had an issue with my self-confidence, and I know that when I’m in an outfit that I know looks great, or just one that I personally love and FEEL great in, my confidence gets a huge boost! Even something as simple as a wallet–and an extremely nice one at that–helps me feel comfortable and somewhat in control.
I just came across this blog, and I am sooo glad that I did; especially give the current circumstances with me leaving for college and all! I can only hope that I get chosen!

CollegeFashion.net is the best! You are my source for all things fashion! This site has truly changed my view on fashion. Recently, I have been trying to transcend my style from the typical Abercrombie and Fitch look (Yes! I read that article about expanding my style from A&F! I completely agree!) to something much more stylish, unique, and classy. Admittedly, I was hesitant at first to leave the comfortableness of a pair of rainbow sandals (they are so comfortable!) and slip into a pair of 2-inch pumps. In the process, however, I realized that I feel more confident and self-assured when I am dressed more professionally. Everyday, I am still discovering and learning about my style and I believe, ultimately, that is what this site is all about– developing and defining one’s own sense of individuality and not just following fashion trends. I think a Marc Jacobs wallet will definitely set me in the right direction, especially in the professional working world. A Marc Jacobs wallet will definitely come in handy as a foundation piece to any type of outfit! Not to mention it would be great to use during coffee breaks with coworkers! I had always been the drab, uninteresting girl decked out in clearance department-store apparel who carried her life in her too-large wallet filling her back pocket, and using her front pockets instead of a purse for things like her phone, chapstick, and such.
This summer, I found myself all of a sudden wanting change. I donated my cheap, uninteresting clothes to charity and have been trying to come up with a more modern, fashion-forward look that still follows a college-girl’s budget.
I could certainly use a new, less mannish wallet (black is my favorite!) or a Barney’s gift card, and I would certainly enjoy a win!

In exactly four days, I will be a freshman at a liberal arts college three an a half hours from my home. It may not be far, but the atmosphere is so much different than what I am used to. Coping has not been easy, especially when packing my wardrobe: after giving away bags of old clothing to thrift shops and attempting to limit myself to just a few suitcases, I’m now less sure of what my personal style is than ever. I just discovered this website about a week ago and have been flipping through its cyber pages ever since, soaking up every bit of advice. Frankly, I think any of these prizes–even itunes!– would help me become a slightly more fashionable college student, and furthermore may help me develop my sense of personal style.
