I’m really looking forward to trying all the DIY ideas that I got from this website (the fringed scarf) and other websites since I can’t really afford a gajillion scarfs, and other accessories, on campus dining salary.

Also, I’m really excited to get into my next quarter of classes and spend time with my friends that left over the summer.

watching the leaves change…slowly from greens to oranges and reds to browns. I do love summer, but fall is like a tiny retreat from the hot weather, and right before the winter hits the midwest like a brick…

What I’m most excited about this fall is starting the last year of college, and especially helping my sister get ready for her October wedding! It’s really exciting to watch her grow as a person and to help get ready for the wedding. Since I’m in the wedding, I’ve been constantly trying to find accessories to wear – everything from necklaces, rings, and headbands. It’s been a blast figuring out what each girl is going to wear – and what we’ve picked has been unique to each girls’ personality, too.

And of course, like what everyone else said, I’m excited to be able to layer my clothes. I will have many more opportunities to wear my new moto jacket with EVERYTHING.

This fall, I am going back to university and back to my dental hygiene program. I am excited to begin my practicum and begin working with patients and in the community. When we work in the clinic, we get to work with many people that are underprivileged, as dental work through dental schools is much cheaper and frequented by people that cannot afford usual dental plans or have recently been laid off so they no longer have dental plans. I really enjoy the schooling part and I feel very comfortable in the clinic, so one of the challenges that I am excited to work my way around is being able to show my personal style and personality while staying within the strict dress code that is in place in the dental clinic, including accessorizing my scrubs :)

The most exciting thing in the fall for me is the feeling I get because everything changes. Here in Manila we’ve already started our school year. We don”t really have the four seasons here but by that time, we can wear the colors that fall brings. This fall is absolutely something that I think I’ve been looking forward to my whole life (no cliche!). First of all, I’m getting to move into an apartment with two of my closest girlfriends and a friend from high school who I always wanted to get close to, but never got the chance to. Not only that, our guy friends (who are part of our little group) are living right next door! Furthermore, after sending my dog that I grew up with from one foster home to another because of my dad’s health, I finally brought her back home after being compromised to let her live at my apartment! This is going to be one step up for responsibility for me, something I’ll need. Not only that, I’m rushing (even though I’m a sophomore) for a sorority I’ve really made up my mind about, and it’s going to be great since one of my best friends is in there to cheer me on. Also, I get to go back to the job that I absolutely LOVE at the Law School here at UGA. And, finally, I can’t wait to pick up on piano lessons again after twelve years without it :)

I am most excited about entering the university of my dreams! I’ve hoped to head off to McGill for as long as I can remember, and now it’s finally happening. I loved college, and I hope university will be just as memorable. I also hope to learn as much about myself as I have in the past few years. It sounds corny, but by stepping up and showing that I am unafraid of being different (clothing-wise especially!), I’ve just been so much happier and ready to tackle all that it is to come.
