I know new year’s eve is long gone, but I still wanted to comment :) I spent new years eve at an event with several outdoor concerts, so I wanted to be comfortable jumping and walking, but also look good. So I ended up wearing black/grey skinny jeans tucked into flat knee-high boots with a fitted zebra-print shirt and a grey-and-purple jacket with fur on the collar..plus a purple scarf with lots of black MAC eyeshadow.

I love your choices in accessories and bags; I had no idea you could get such cute stuff for so cheap without it looking cheap. I never thought to look in places like Forever 21 and Wet Seal; I had deemed them all a little too young for my style. That H&M bracelet in 3 is amazing and I wanna go out and get it right now!

well by the time i post this, its already new years day in my country ;). Well i didn’t do much on new years eve, just had dinner with family and some friends. I do like 2 and 4, but would consider 1 if i was heading out

Oh my, I love that pink ruffled H&M top! It’s… wow. Love it. Want it.

I’ve noticed that a lot of great stuff is from Forever 21. I checked out their site and it looks like a fantastic store, but I’m from Toronto, and there aren’t any of their stores around here… though that’s all the more reason to go shopping in the States every little while!

This site is just awesome, I check it every week. Thanks for making it! I’ve now gotten on board with skinny jeans too, thanks to that article quite a while back.

I’ve been following this site for a while and I love seeing it grow! It looks wonderful now and your topics are just as inspirational and refreshing (and beyond helpful) as they were when you just started out! Numbers 1, 3, 4 seem more my style–I want that ruffled pink top so badly!! But I can’t go buy it since the bet between me and my friend is still ongoing (No buying any new clothes until Summer 2009) :-( Oh well.

I’ll be wearing red cords, brown ruffled top, denim belt, some layered necklaces and black flats. It’s not that dressy so I’ll probably do something more interesting with my hair. Eh.

Your outfits are lovely, I loved the first one.. this year I’m not doing anything just dinner with my parents ans sister, so I think I’ll just wear things that meant a lot through the last year.. probably skinny jeans, boots, a tank that I wore a looot last year and that I totally love and a blazer… nothing fancy…

I love these outfits! Especially the first one!

I’ll be walking around all night, so as much as I love heels, they just aren’t practical. I’m wearing a black ruffled jersey skirt, a black sweater, black patent flats, and thick, warm fuschia tights for a bit of color and to keep from freezing.
