Oh my god Ashley be reasonable. I bet all of these girls including the author love their bodies…but whats wrong with looking and feeling the best that you can? I love my body but i also love smooth lines. So dont wear them if you dont want to but dont patronize…it has nothing to do with insecurity its just fashion!

i can’t believe you’re recommending spanx for 17/18 year old young women… maybe a better thing to have for college is a sense of loving your body and confidence in who you are.. but i guess you cant buy that.

Hey. This is awesome. I’m still a junior at high school, but this is great for my wardrobe even now. I absolutely love this article. It’s the most helpful one anywhere. Thanks so much for writing it!!! I think you should add a pair of sneakers from payless. Also some long sleeved tees. They’re great for layering. I’m in CA, but it’s getting pretty cold. I’m wearing them, and most people around here are, too. Something in bright colors ’cause it’s so dreary with the rains. Thanks again for the awesome article!!!! Love it SOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!!!!

Sperry topsider carries a lot of great quality really cute rain boots. They all come lined in a very soft felt like material, and they even have a version that looks like flats. Their only downside is that they only come in whole sizes.

Just to give you an option on rain boots, I just got a pair from Zappos that are AMAZING! They look amazing and they do the job. They are Kamik and are made in Canada. I got the Ellie style in black, but if I had the money to splurge more, I’d get the red ones. Sooooo awsome. And they aren’t all bulky and heavy so they give your feet and legs a feminie look still.
