Buy the darkest wash you can find, and look for styles that are slightly flared at the ankle. A lighter wash makes your legs look larger, while dark colors make you look super-skinny. The flared leg will help balance out a wider thigh.

Whatever you do, if you don’t have stick-thin legs, avoid skin-tight white tapered-leg jeans at all costs!
