Fashion and Style Tip #4:

How much money should you spend on a dress?

Since dresses are complete outfits in themselves, add up what you would normally spend on an entire outfit (minus shoes and accessories) to figure out about what you should spend on a dress.

For example: jeans + tank + cardigan = dress.

I totally agree! for separates I shoot for a 25 cent cost per wear, dresses I figure a dollar is quite reasonable. Okay, sometimes more for special occasion wear. ;)

Yeah! Dresses are just so worth it. They add so much class and style for just one article of clothing. They are definitely great pieces to spend the extra money on.

Great post on Fashion and Style. I use to spend about $50 for one dress. These will include a good shirt and having a good inner t-shirt. It also include the Jeans pant with monkey wash pant.
