Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.

For the past few seasons, sheer clothing has been inescapable. You probably own a sheer top or maybe even a high-low skirt, but it's safe to say most of these pieces are reserved for when the sun goes down. But since we're all about versatility, I say that's a huge waste! If you know how to style it, you can rock sheer clothing in the daytime, too.

This week I'll be showing you how to style a modern night out staple -- a sheer black oxford shirt -- for both day and night. If you're looking to get inspired, check out the outfits below.

Top, Jacket, Jeans, Flats, Bag, Beanie, Earrings

If your sheer top has a front panel (a.k.a. you can't see your bra through the front) then you're in luck, because that makes it even more versatile. If it doesn't, layer a black cami underneath to add some more coverage for daytime.

Style the top with a pair of classic dark wash skinny jeans and a trendy utility jacket for a casual-cute look. Add a cozy black beanie to fight fall chill and serious cases of bedhead (you knew signing up for that 8 a.m. class was a mistake). Keep the rest of your accessories simple and feminine -- try a classic black satchel and a pair of trendy black and white striped flats to up your cool factor. Complete the outfit with a pop of color - a pair of bright pink studs will do the trick!

Top, Jeans, Bandeau, Pumps, Clutch, Necklace, Earrings, Nail Polish

Up the ante for your night out ensemble by pairing your top with some uber-trendy coated jeans - I love the almost metallic look of this pair. Plus, the deep purple hue works perfectly against the black blouse. Add a lacy black bandeau and killer strappy pumps for a touch of subtle sex appeal.

Since the holidays are fast-approaching, opt for super sparkly accessories, like a gemstone-covered bib necklace and sparkly spike earrings, to make this outfit extra special. Complete the look with a super trendy nail color - I can't get over how awesome this tarnished olive-gold polish looks!
