Be VERY careful about OTK boots. at 5'0'', they completely take over my legs and look just wrong. A lot of girls that are just a few inches taller can pull them off, though. I usually go for a boot with a heel. Being short my whole life, I've gotten used to walking in them! Short girls! I've been cursed with twig legs no matter what I do - my calves are about 12" around, and I can't find boots that fit since most seem to have at least a 15" circumference and leave wide, hideous gaps.
