Nice post. Just a little thing: for those of us who don’t think we need spanx, it’s very important to choose your panties right. The article some other author wrote on underwear is preety useful finding undies that won’t show lines.

hey, i really like the article; i didn’t consider slips as an undergarment but now i will. also, i’d just like to point out that the black modcloth dress you’re endorsing is sold at modcloth.com for $107.99, but lulus.com sells exactly the same dress for $72.00… that’s a $36 difference. i’m not trying to advertise for lulu’s exactly, but modcloth isn’t the only retailer that sells its clothing.

Definitely hold on to your old prom dress(es)! I ended up wearing my senior ball dress for my sorority formal a few years ago. I figure I can donate them later when I’m too old for sparkly pink dresses. (Hopefully that day never comes…) It’s awesome being able to reuse old dresses, and no one has to know that it’s a repeat!

I think that this is a great post! It seems that many people now don’t really know what goes into dressing up anymore, at least that is what I see at my school, so it is nice to see a post about it!
