December is a time for celebrating, and one color that instantly gets us in the holiday spirit is crimson. This intense red hue works with a ton of different shades, but we’re loving the way it pairs with a sophisticated camel. The neutral camel balances out the bold crimson, and the resulting combination is both modern and festive.

Need some outfit ideas before you rock this color combo? Simply scroll on down to check out four stylish outfits featuring camel and crimson:

Outfit #1: Holiday Shopping

For a cute and comfy everyday outfit, pair a cozy camel sweater with your favorite pair of dark wash jeans. A plaid scarf adds a pop of color, while riding boots are a practical yet stylish choice. Add a some more crimson with a structured top-handle bag and accessorize with a sparkly ring to finish up this look.

Camel coats are a total classic – invest in one now and you’ll wear it for years to come. For this getup, we opted to pair a funnel-neck coat with a crimson skater skirt and a cream-colored lace top. Contrast the girly vibe of the skirt with some lace-up oxfords, then add a fashion-forward touch with patterned tights. Lastly, accessorize with a pair of adorable owl stud earrings.

I love mixing neutral colors with bold colors. I usually mix camels and creams with sapphire blues and emeralds and crimsons with black but I hadn’t thought of this. Definitely a must try, great job
