I LOVE that lace dress in the girly/edgy look. I don’t think it’s on the F21 site anymore though. Has anyone seen a similar style anywhere?

I love mixing styles. It’s great especially when I travel and can’t or rather don’t want to pack much stuff :-) I take a couple of tight tee shirts and my favorite layered ,short skirt, a pair of sky high heels and I’m ready to go. I also change the image of my clothes with various accessories about which I’m totally crazy :-)

One of my first steps from tomboy’dom was to go for zip-up hoodies with cable knit details. They’re still comfortable but look a lot more put together and interesting.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Blair’s style on Gossip Girl for that perfect mix of girly, preppy, and classic. She’s my fave! Also, Rachel on Glee has a great preppy/girly look.

My style is very girly. My staples include: floral skirts and dresses, cardigans, opaque tights (black, cream, and pale pink are my basics – bold colors like red, burgundy, and navy are fun, too!), flats, equestrian-style boots, preppy dresses, and headbands. I have the opposite problem: how do you inject rocker/edgy or boho pieces into a girly style? A post on “de-girlifying” a style would be great!

Ooh you should talk about Taylor’s fashion on the OC (season 4) if you’re into the OC! I’ve been watching the reruns lately and I just ADORE Taylor’s style; it’s very feminine and classic. Love it!

I was rather disappointed when it came to the last section on the tomboy: that is the usual uniform for most college students, and I would love to see some more detail and fashionable examples, as hoodies, t-shirts, and jeans are true staples. That little blurb isn’t doing it for me.

I appreciate the other outfits you showed, but I would love to be able to have fashionable outfits without having to buy and replace my whole wardrobe.

I love wearing flats and they’re so girly. But they always give me blisters. Could you post some tips on getting flats that fit right and preventing the outfit-killing blisters on the back of your heels? Thanks!
