Class to Night Out: Oxblood Jeans
Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.
What’s the best thing about fall fashion? Experimenting with the season’s hottest colors, of course. Though deep jewel tones are always in style this time of year, I definitely already have a favorite hue that I can’t wait to try out: Oxblood. This deep, dark red hue is simultaneously cozy and vampy – and therefore perfect for fall.
This week, I’ll be showing you how to style a pair of oxblood skinny jeans for a comfy day of classes and a night out.
Oxblood Jeans: Class

Jeans, Tee, Scarf, Bag, Flats, Earrings
For class, try out a cozy, artsy look that’s as dramatic as oxblood by pairing your jeans with a cute animal tee. (I’m dying over this baby kitty shirt!) Contrast the adorable top with a skull-print scarf to add a bit of edge. Tan ballet flats and a structured deep green satchel balance out the look while lending fall-appropriate flair. Add an artistic touch with a pair of glittery camera-shaped studs.
Oxblood Jeans: Night Out

Jeans, Top, Bag, Pumps, Earrings
Amp up the drama for night by pairing your skinnies with a glamorous sequined button-up tank. The polished cut of the top will help create a look that’s prim and proper, but still vampy enough for a night out. Keep your accessories simple to balance out this dramatic outfit: Classic black pumps and gold chandelier earrings will more than do the trick. Complete the ensemble with a retro-inspired cross-body bag in elegant black and ivory.
Your thoughts?

I always have a hard time find additional products like the ones put into CF articles. Often times the items listed are sold out or not in my size or above my budget. I loves these outfits, as I do almost everything put on the CF site. I just wish that more options for the clothes were listed. Say four places to by oxblood jeans instead of two.

Love this, especially the first look. Oxblood has always been one of my fav colors, so I’m so excited there’s so much of it around for Fall :] And that kitten shirt… seriously, I’m dying over it as well. Too cute!

I feel like there’s a little bit too much going on in the first look (although the camera earrings are absolutely darling!). The second outfit speaks more to me because it’s got a neutral color palette with a pop of color. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

A woman from my church just recently gave me an oxblood shade of nail polish, and i thought it was the best way to try out the trend. I love how bold this color is, and i plan to buy a few more oxblood pieces this season!
ps. Anyone else loving all the different versions of the oxblood leather coat??

Oxblood?!?!? I had no idea that is what the color is being called. I thought it was maroon! The real name is slightly more off-putting, but I’d love to get a pair if these jeans anyways.

I got a pair of oxblood jeans from garage, guess had some last time I was there too, both were waxy, like a leather texture? They’re super comfy too!
Ps idk if you guys have garage in the states, I’m in the great white north :D

This post is amazing && both outfits are wonderful, but why on earth are people calling it oxblood? I get it, you’re wearing burgundy. It could also be dark red, maroon, or cranberry. Stop trying to make it look like something new. It’s been around for ages.
