Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.

Leather pants are not just for Catwoman anymore! These edgy staples are super hot this season, and with animal- and budget-friendly faux-leather versions available in fast fashion stores, they’re totally affordable, too. Even better, leather-look coated jeans are also surprisingly wearable, and can look really chic when styled properly.

This week, I’ll be showing you how to style a pair of leather look jeans for both a day of classes and a night out. Read on for the outfits!

Leather Look Jeans: Class

Make these edgy jeans a bit more classic for daytime by pairing them with a pretty polka-dotted blouse that’s belted at the waist for a more polished look. To balance the Freddie Mercury vibe of the pants, keep your accessories simple and girly. Try feminine two-toned ballet flats and fairly simple jewelry like a gold chain bracelet or adorable sparkly owl earrings. Add a bright pop of color with a pink shoulder bag to complete the look.

Leather Look Jeans: Night Out

Pair your leather look jeans with a plum peplum top for a pretty and polished nighttime look. The contrast between wild leather and classic, feminine peplum creates visual balance and interest. Add color by accessorizing with mint statement jewelry for a unique feel – I love this statement necklace and these matching earrings. A white quilted cross-body bag and classic black ankle booties complete the look.

Your thoughts?

Would you wear leather look jeans? How would you style them? Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think of the outfits – I love hearing your thoughts!

The night out color combo reminds me of the one Cameron Diaz wore a while ago.

I’m all for the whole edgy look and all, but these pants don’t look very comfortable to me :/ I love the looks, though! They work just as well for standard black skinny jeans, which is probably what I would wear if I wanted to experiment with these looks

I’ve got two jeather pants. First I bought a black one, staying on the safe side and I loved it so much I bought a purple one just a week later. I wear them all the time, because they make your look more polished, can be worn to any occassion and are just as comfortable as normal jeans. Love them!

Love the looks of these jeans. Good product selection, great prices and easy to navigate.
