Class to Night Out: Geometric Print Dress
Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.
There’s nothing quite like a bold, colorful outfit to lift your spirits on a dreary winter day. With gray skies and slush-filled sidewalks dominating most of campus, sometimes you have to turn to your wardrobe to lighten things up a little. And what better way to do that than with a trendy geometric print?
This week, I’ll be showing you how to wear a geometric print dress for both a day of classes and a night out. If you’re looking to brighten up your winter wardrobe, read on!
Geometric Print Dress: Class

Dress, Cardigan, Tights, Boots, Bag, Bracelet, Earrings
Keep it simple yet chic for your daytime look by pairing your dress with navy tights and edgy black combat boots to balance the feminine shape of the dress. Then, add more girly softness by warming up with a cozy white cardigan. To contrast the bold print of the dress, accessorize with earthy pieces, like geode-shaped earrings and a brown leather wrap bracelet. Complete the look with a bright pop of color in the form of a lemon yellow bag.
Geometric Print Dress: Night Out

Dress, Belt, Pumps, Clutch, Necklace, Earrings
For your night look, play with color by accessorizing your dress with a mint green belt. Next, add a bright, hot pink statement clutch for an even bolder look. Emphasize the angular print of the dress by adding a silver spiked necklace and matching crystal earrings. Finally, tie the look together with a pair of silver-toed black pumps.

Ooh! Very cute outfits! Also, thanks for calling it a geometric print instead of a tribal print. Green is my favorite color, and that dress is great, ugh, good find.

I like how geometric prints are feminine & fun, whilst not being too girly- they fit into my sleek artsy/ boho aesthetic, without looking overly preppy :)

I like how geometric prints are feminine & fun, whilst not being too girly or ‘cute’- they can fit into my laidback boho aesthetic (for college), whilst also being appropriate for my sleek artsy look at work :)
