Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. This column will focus on one piece per week, and teach you how to take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.

Whenever spring rolls around, I immediately reach for the flounciest, most colorful floral dress I can find, even if I can hear Miranda Priestly whispering “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.”

Though it’s a total spring fashion no-brainer, the always versatile floral dress must be celebrated accordingly. That’s why this week I’ll be showing you how to style an adorable floral dress for both day and night, for two super cute boho-inspired looks.

Floral Dress: Class

Bring out your inner bohemian by wearing a big slouchy scarf in a cute neutral tone over your shoulders – I love this scarf because the white stripes give a really cool tie-dye effect. Choosing a dress that comes with a little belt is also helpful for both defining your waist and giving your look a more layered appearance. Accessorize with a peach shoulder bag, gladiator sandals and beaded bangles to complete this art school-chic look.

Floral Dress: Night Out

Choosing a structured dress is key when it comes to taking your look from day to night. I love that this dress has a fuller skirt with a tighter, more detailed top because it makes styling it for night much easier!

To start, rock some wedge heeled sandals in a candy-colored hue and add dangling feather earrings for a wilder vibe. A colorblocked clutch and gold bangles with a hint of neon finish the look. This would be perfect to wear for a fun pre-summer barbecue bash or an outdoor concert!

What do you think?

Do you have a favorite floral dress that you practically live in during spring? What do you think of the outfits. Leave me a comment and let me know, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Yeah, I can’t really see wearing it out to the club. Maybe a country music club..

I like both outfits, but the first is my favorite. I would totally wear that. I love fit-and-flare dresses! And the shoes in the second outfit are the prettiest shade of pink!
