If you don't like wearing heels, you can still look cute on a night out! Here are our favorite high heel alternatives for parties.

While heels are the traditional choice for an evening out, they aren't the only choice. There are lots of reasons to forego the 4-inch stilettos once in a while - maybe they're difficult to walk in, maybe your feet need a break, or maybe you just don't like heels to begin with!

Whatever your reason, here are three night-out ensembles (sans heels) to inspire you:

1. Flats

Flats are probably the most obvious alternative to heels. For a dressier look, pick a pair with a pointed toe, ankle straps, or embellishments. Wear them with faux leather pants and a sweetheart peplum top to keep the outfit sleek and trendy. Accessorize with a clutch and earrings in a rich teal hue, add a cocktail ring for some extra sparkle, and style your hair in big, bold curls.

2. Ankle Boots

For a cool and trendy look, switch out your heels for a pair of cutout ankle boots. This beige suede pair would look great with a fitted black dress and an olive green moto jacket. Wear your hair up in a messy topknot, then accessorize by slipping on some gold bangles. For a final pop of print, throw your essentials in a leopard clutch.

3. Oxfords

One way to take a break from heels is to go for a menswear-inspired look. Pair a black blazer and black shorts with an embellished cami, then slip on a pair of studded black oxfords. Add some glam with a gold clutch and jeweled stud earrings. A loose side bun gives the ensemble a touch of effortless polish.
