I think this sounds great, too bad I don’t live near a Target… I’m always excited about new designers collaborating with Target and I’ve heard a lot of great things about Zac Posen but again, too bad I don’t live near a Target so I don’t think I’ll end up getting anything from the collection which is a shame.

I love the designers that collaborate with Target but I’ve been disappointed lately on the quality and appearance of the clothes. Take for example the latest collection with Anna Sui. Photographed the pieces appeared to be of better quality than they actually were, for example one of the Serena dresses. It was made out of tweed and had this silver designer in the chest area. I was curious as to what it was but I figured it must be glittery cloth or something, but when I went to the store and saw the dress it was a cheap plastic material. The kind of material you find on cheerleader pom poms, which was so displeasing.
Here’s to hoping these designs are better.

I absolutely love Zac Posen, but we’ll see how the watered-down Target version of his pieces are. Like Ally, none of the previous designer collections at Target have had any ‘must-haves’ for me.

he did a collection for Target in Australia a couple of years ago – there were nice pieces, I got a dress on sale a few months later for $20. I found the fit to be kinda strange in most of the garments though – lots of things I liked but just looked really weird on…

I hope there are ruffles! I love the ruffles in his designs. I agree with Ally, though. The Target versions are often a pretty far cry from the designers’ versions.

I was just excited to see Coco Rocha when I clicked over to College Fashion :)

While I love Zac Posen, the pieces at Target somehow always disappoint. It’s just not the same as having the real thing, and past collections have really been nothing for me to get excited about. I’d rather save my money and put it towards the real thing, because these lines at Target almost seem like knock offs in some ways.
