Victoria Beckham for Marc Jacobs

Here are the photos from Victoria Beckham’s much-anticipated ad campaign for Marc Jacobs Spring 2008. When I first heard she was going to do ads for Marc, I was a little apprehensive, but I have to say personally I love her and her style, and I think the ads came out funny and interesting, although I’m not sure about the one where she’s coming out of the box…

Check out the shots below for yourself and be sure to take note of the craziness that is the reverse heels from Marc’s runway show!

I think those legs aren’t bony enough to belong to Victoria Beckham. Just my 2 cents.

I don’t really like the legs coming out of the bag, it’s like she’s on the delivery table going into labor. And I don’t really like how she’s not really advertising the clothing – all we see are the packaging. The third photo is okay, though – interesting and whimsical.

It’s all inspired by Bryanboy, Marc Jacobs is a reader of his blog. I think this campaign is fun and I like it.

I absolutely adore Victoria Beckham, but I think that her and Marc Jacobs, whom I also adore, can do better. I think the photos are boring and drab. I don’t see any advertising in it. I could have come up with this in my sleep.
