beautiful colors! i’m really struck by the names, love his inspiration!!!
if anyone is curious about the translation:
lal mirchi = red chilli
anardana = pomegranate
ratin jot = alkanet root (herb)
amchoor = dried mango powder
kutki = type of herb, i don’t think it has an anglo-saxon name
koliary = unsure on this one, sorry!

Wow, for once I have no favorite – I want EVERY single one!! I really wish NARS wasn’t so expensive or I’d buy the whole collection…
Marissa
For anyone who loves the colors but can’t stomach paying $18 per bottle, check out my latest blog post; I found great alternatives for each of the colors!
I really hope NARS does more designer collaborations in the future because this one really showcases how great they can be. I’d love to see something done with their lipsticks or blush.
As for these nail polishes, I’m really loving Kutki and Ratin Jot!

@ Monica: I’m sure you could probably just look for equivalents in OPI or Essie or something. The colours are beautiful, but I don’t think they’re so overly original that they can’t be found elsewhere.

the NARS counter at the Bloomingdales near me had these today! every color is breathtakingly gorgeous in person. I almost bought Koliary but decided to stick to my budget. I might crack and buy it in a few weeks, if it’s still in stock.

Kutki is my fave(: love the idea of naming NAIL POLISH with SPICES! I loveee to cook and the colors do a good job correlating with the spices(:

I’ve never wanted nail polish more in my life! Every color is stunning. I just can’t justify buying $20 nail polishes…I mean…WHOA that’s expensive!
