New Pieces from Low Luv x Erin Wasson

Low Luv by Erin Wasson

Supermodel turned designer Erin Wasson has just released a few new pieces for her jewelry line Low Luv x Erin Wasson, and we’re in love.

While she may have gotten some bad press due to admitting she takes style cues from homeless people, you can’t deny that Erin has the cool-girl grunge look down. She effortlessly translates her personal style into her designs, which feature hammered and oxidized metal in edgy, geometric shapes.

So if you have a grungy or edgy sense of style, these pieces could be the perfect investments to add a finishing touch to your look.

Interested? Buy the snake hinged cuff, tribal necklace, and two tone scarab ring at Shopbop.com. Or check out the rest of the collection here. While some pieces are extremely high-priced, others are more reasonable (yet still, obviously, investment pieces) and could be worth saving up for.

So what do you think? Love any of the pieces? Think Erin Wasson is worth the hype? Go ahead and give a shout out in the comments!

    boyfriend tee: urban outfitters?

button down: thrift stores! I was looking for one for weeks, and then finally I was in a thrift store, and it was so perfect. It was a men’s shirt, but it’s the best colors and a great shape and super soft.

    Just my suggestions, haha.

I admit, I love some of the jewelry from this line, including the snake ring you featured and pretty much all of the body-armor-chain things. But I think Erin Wasson’s more of a stylist than a designer. I like the way she puts things together, but the individual pieces– like in her most recent RTW line– aren’t anything to write home about. I wouldn’t be disappointed if she took a break from the whole designing thing and just went into styling or- radical idea- stuck to modeling.

There are tons of designers that CF can feature. How about one that is socially aware enough to a) keep her mouth shut about exploiting the poor for her style inspiration? CF, please don’t promote people who perpetuate fashion stereotypes when there are plenty who don’t. Use your power for good!

Not feeling this jewelry. I am not one to wear the dirty/tarnished metal look.

i love erin wasson’s personal style & her line is quite cute, though not entirely original looking, much of it looks like kitschy thrift store finds– i’d prefer to scavenger for pieces! I’m crazy for anything egyptian inspired though so I really like that cartouche necklace :)

I think she looks great in her style but only because she would look great in anything.

i don’t get why these pieces are so great. i’m a huge fan of grunge-meets-vintage jewelry and i’ve gotten them at shops like urban or aldo or at thrift stores. they look just as good if not better and cost a fraction of the prices listed here. what happened to college fashion doing affordable features?

I cannot get enough of Erin Wasson. Her line for RVCA was stellar and her jewelry line is uh, okay. And I don’t know about the rest of America but the homeless people in NYC have a very cool, effortless sense of style. Most of them smell bad, yes. And they scare the tourists, yes. But as far as style goes I can see why Erin Wasson looks to them for inspiration.

That being said, Erin’s jewelry line might be new but we’ve seen pieces like this before and a bunch of street vendors in Soho sell jewelry just like this (only cheaper). Her jewelry line is going to sell but only because name is attached to it. Agree? Disagree?
