Narciso Rodriguez to Collaborate with Kohl’s

Two looks from Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s. | ELLE
American designer Narcisco Rodriguez will be teaming up with Kohl’s to create an exclusive capsule collection for the department store.
This partnership with Rodriguez will be the first for the store’s new fashion concept line, DesigNation, which will feature limited-edition collections created by renowned fashion designers. Each DesigNation collaboration will be influenced by an international destination and Rodriguez was inspired by Istanbul, Turkey for his upcoming collection:
“In Istanbul, I found beauty in colors, textures and patterns, but also in the nuances of the city; the patina on the walls, the color of the stone and the way people moved. I am excited to partner with Kohl’s to bring this DesigNation collection to life and provide women with beautiful clothing at an accessible price.”
Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s will feature women’s outerwear, skirts, pants, tops and dresses, priced between $30 to $150. The collection will be available in stores and online for a limited time starting this November.
Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, WWD is reporting Kohl’s second DesigNation collection will be with Derek Lam in Spring 2013.

If these are the designers Kohl’s will be attracting, I will definitely make an effort to shop there. Strong choices for Kohl’s first capsule designers. Very nice.

I like colors and that overall its “clean” look, but I doubt that it would look good on short or curvy figure.

Excitement runs through my blood.

Ehh…not intrigued. First of all the models look mean and too skinny, but that’s beside the point I guess. I think the colors and patterns are really interesting, but the cuts are very unflattering – they just look like a drape-y, unshapely mess.
