I love the color palette she chose! Much more accessible than the Prabal Gurung prints, even though I loved that whole collection and own one of the dresses. I’m dying to get my hands on the black jumpsuit and the white blazer.

For some reason I feel like the model’s hair and presentation makes the collection look drab and it’s not because of the monochrome. That being said, I was hoping for some pants, but I’ll probably get some blazers.

Contrary to Emma above, I find it easier for me to wear the colors and prints from the Prabal Gurung collection than the structure of the dresses above.

it’s kind of boring to me. the prabal prints were were at least something different (exception of meet the parents print) florals are OVERDONE at this point and the only print lately that doesn’t look like baby barf to me, is chevron stripes (loving those). too much black and white and too many typical cuts in the collection. I hate hi-los. the cap sleeve fit n flare is the only thing I’d wear but even that is typical.

Countdown to April 14th because I NEED this! (Okay maybe not need but I really want a lot of this collection, especially that black dress with the belt! Ah I’m drooling over here) Great post!

    love it!
I like the prabal gurung collection too, but they are totally different and I think both are great!

I like the vintage feel. Everything seems really wearable and cute.

I don’t live in the USA (& therefore can’t buy from Target)- but the lace/ sheer tops layered under dresses have definitely given me some ideas on how to give formal dresses full-body coverage!

For example, how cute would the long red hi-lo dress look if there was some more lace was inserted at the hem to make it a full maxi (floor length) dress (similar to how they inserted the lace sleeves)?

I understand the simplicity/ vintage vibe of this lookbook may not be for everyone (it’s not really my style either), but I love looking at these things for inspiration on how to sew them into my own personal style! =]

I bought 6 Prabal Gurung dresses. Thank God I want nothing in this collection except maybe that backless gown with the ruffle. Maybe.
