WWD is reporting that designer Karl Lagerfeld will be creating an exclusive cosmetics collection with Japanese-based cosmetics company Shu Uemera.

The collection is set to include 17 products, each reflecting Lagerfeld’s “iconic, ironic style.” These limited-edition products will launch during the 2012 holiday season at 400 Shu Uemera stores worldwide. There’s no word yet if the collection will be available for purchase online.

I’ve never tried any Shu Uemura products, but I’ve heard good things about them, and Lagerfeld is… interesting, so I’m interested to see what comes out of this.
