Karl Lagerfeld + Fossil Team Up for Watch Collection

Iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with Fossil to create an unique collection of watches that will debut this February.
According to WWD, the collection will consist of seven watches, including the “Karl Zip” (pictured above) which can be widened or thinned by simply zipping and unzipping the cuff. WWD also reported that the rest of the timepieces will incorporate elements like pyramid studs, metallic leather and chains. And — in a true Lagerfeld fashion — each watch will be emblazoned with a tiny image of the designer’s recognizable profile.
The collection will launch exclusively at Fossil stores starting on February 28th. Prices will range from $150 to $595.

Wow, interesting design. I must say that I love my fossil watch (and the one before that, and the one before that as well)… I am not too sure about this though, but yeah, something different :)

This sound incredible! Too bad it’s out of my price range!

WOW! I work for Fossil and didn’t know about this! I am beyond excited not only to get my hands on some of these, but to have the privilege to sell these! It already looks much more exciting and fashion forward than the last designer collaboration with Philippe Stark.

This collection won’t be Fossil branded. In other words its not “Karl Lagerfeld for Fossil” like the Philippe Stark line. These are totally KL branded watches that happen to be made by Fossil. Its part of Fossil’s extensive porfolio of licensed brands (MKors, DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Burberry, etc.)
