Disney and Forever 21 will be collaborating to create a line inspired by one of Disney’s most famous and beloved characters: Minnie Mouse.

According to Forever 21, the collaboration — called Minnie Muse — will be part of their Twist line of clothing and accessories. Like other Twist collaborations, this line will include apparel, jewelry, outerwear and even stationary.

Minnie Muse will be available for a limited time in stores and online later this month at a price point on par with similar pieces from Forever 21. FabSugar is reporting that the line will follow “Minnie’s shopping adventures in major fashion capitals like London, Paris and Tokyo.”

Check out these adorable photos from Forever 21 to get a sneak peak at some of the pieces in the Minnie Muse line:

Thoughts?

What do you think of this collaboration? Are you a fan of Disney? Do you think this concept is childish? Or do you think the pieces will have an adult feel? Will you be checking out this collection in stores? Make sure to leave a comment and let us know your thoughts!

I absolutely love Disney! Though I will have to look at these when they come out, I hope they will not have a childish look to them!

Looks kind of boring, to be honest. I noticed the ears first, her makeup second, and the clothing dead last.

The idea is wonderful and all but I think they’re taking the mouse theme too seriously. The clothing doesn’t have to be just as gray and noticable as a mouse, even if it’s a Minnie Mouse collection, right? And secondly, hasn’t like.. Everyone done this? But well, I live in Europe, so what do I know. So I guess it’s awesome that they’re doing this and I kind of like it, but it’s just not my style.

I’m not sure how I feel about the clothes yet, but the model in these photos is absolutely gorgeous!

From what I see, the collection looks kind of… boring. Not how I usually think of Minnie Mouse. But maybe that’s because this looks to be a collection less “inspired by” Disney and more a collection of Disney branded apparel. I think it looks like little more than larger versions of stuff you could find at a Disneyland gift shop or the Disney store in your local mall.

I think it’s pretty childish, or perhaps just too literal.
