After collaborating with designer Brian Lichtenberg last summer, Forever 21 is teaming up with two more designers to create exclusive collections for the store.

Although both designers are LA-based, each collection has its own unique aesthetic. Petro Zillia‘s pieces are bold and colorful, while Rory Beca‘s line will have a laid-back, yet sophisticated vibe.

According to WWD, the pieces in both collections are priced between $5.80- $32.80 and will launch at all 250 Forever 21 stores.

Petro Zillia for Forever 21 debuted in stores and online last week, while Rory Beca for Forever 21 will launch on March 4th. You can check out all of Petro Zillia’s looks here.

The Petro Zillia ones are okay, I don’t like the terry cloth stuff that much, especially the hotpants and bandeau top. I like the fruit punch stripes cardigan and the berries n cream dress. Those are probably the two that I would personally spend money on. I’m excited for Rory Beca’s line though! Looks like it will be cute

Cool, I like the sound of Rory Beca’s collection. Does anyone know if these collections will be sold in Canadian stores?

I actually think the Petro Zilia line is … kinda ugly. I don`t know, it`s just too cheap and childish looking. Maybe that`s just me though. I`m much more waiting for Rory Beca`s line. It`s much anticipated in my books.

@ Caitlin, the Petro Zilla collection is in Canada ( well, at least online in Canada) :)

I prefer the Rory Beca collection, it looks much more college-age appropriate. The Petro Zilla collection is a little too bright and young looking for my taste.

Pedro Zilia’s line looks like a tacky version of Sonia Rykiel.

Em- Thanks for sharing the link! I hadn’t seen some of those looks yet– I especially like the black dress and printed blouse.

I’m surprised they didn’t just steal the designs. I think this blog should stop promoting Forever21 until they stop stealing ideas.

Ethically, clothes should not be this cheap. These pieces are a ‘steal’ in more ways than one and its because F21 is cutting a lot of corners.

Agree with Alli! Finally, F21 is having more of its own designs instead of look-alikes.

Not that I’m complaining abt cheaper counterparts by F21. Just that it’s abt time too, you know
