First Look at Dolce Vita for Target
Although it hasn’t been officially announced yet, photos and information have leaked about Target’s latest designer collaboration. According to Racked NY, the popular shoe label Dolce Vita has worked with Target to create an exclusive new shoe collection.
If you live in the NYC area, these shoes are available right now at the brand new East Harlem Target, but as of today they’re also available online at Target.com for all you online shoppers! However, the collection will officially launch in stores nationwide August 22nd.
All of the shoes are priced under $35, which is around one-third of the cost of a typical Dolce Vita shoe. Of course, this low price point means that the footwear will be made of cheaper faux-leather instead of the usual higher-quality materials fans of the brand are used to.

I’m not sure about that one although the lace up boots are nice.
Sarah
Thanks for the scoop! And these would look great if you were going for a Taylor Momsen look!
elle
Most of the shoes are a little too masculine for my taste… i wish the toes weren’t so pointy!!
Sarah Brooke
I usually like Dolce Vita but I don’t think that I am a fan of these. The flats are alright but otherwise I am with Elle, they are a bit too masculine for me.
Isabelle
I have a few Dolce Vitas and these dont seems special or appeal to me at all. You’re almost better off waiting until Dillards or Macy’s put the real ones on sale, you can get an awesome pair for until $40
S
I don’t like any of these, and I’ve found that most of the designer collaborations at Target are pretty low in quality. I know I’m in the minority but I’m just not a fan of Target at all.
Milana
Love the boots!
Tara
Can you say boring?
You can easily find shoes like these without the designer name attached to them in other stores or even the mens section.
A
Sorry, but none of these are the kind I would wear. Just not for me.
kd
ugh, these are hideous!! none of target’s designer collaborations are that amazing, but these are downright terrible.
Katie
I love the ankle boots!
Heather
I agree, much to masculine for me! I’d almost mistake that they were in the wrong shoe section, I don’t think those particular shoes will be a huge success :/
Laura
I like the oxfords best, but like Elle, they are a bit too pointy for my taste. I think I’ll just hit up a used clothing store and scour for a pair of oxfords…there is no Target in Canada anyway, boo.
Casey
I agree with the majority of other commentors on here, why so masculine? I already own shoes that look like or even better than these. Why would I buy them just because of the label attached to them, especially when I just don’t think they are very cute. I’m usually a picky shopper when it comes to brands and what-not, but in this case I will definetly pass. I’m afraid they are going to have a big flop with these shoes unless they put some different styles out. :/
Alesha
AHHHHH!!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!
Melissa
I really don’t like the boots. They’re very masculine, and not in a cool, androgynous way. But I appreciate the heads up!
Julie
These were out at a target on long island last week. They didn’t look too great in person
Madeline
I actually love the masculine feel of the boots — I can just imagine myself wearing them with flowy frilly dresses or feminine tops and cut-off shorts.
However, if I could only purchase one pair, I’d get the studded oxford flats.
Tessa
I want those black oxfords SO BAD. They might seem kinda boring at first glance, but when you think about the possibilities of outfits that you can put together with them, they look so amazing. :)
Christina
My Target had the lace up boots and flats out a few days ago but now it looks like they’ve either sold out or taken them back until the official release. They didn’t look too great in person, and I agree with the other commenters, you can definitely get a DV shoe at Macy’s or Nordstrom Rack for about the same price on sale and it’s a better quality!
Rachel
I love everything except for the flats. The look is so androgynous :)
Anaf.
I NEED those calf high boots in my wardrobe! I was just about to buy some boots from Walmart, I think I’ll wait and check out Target now. I LOVE their designer collaborations.
kelly
im very disappointed in this collaboration, the past ones have been great, but i find every one of these shoes ugly, like menswear meets goth.
Jessica
Great style indeed. The summer trends keep changing sort of, how about the hair? Whats better than a cute outfit? Great hair, check it out www,josephinesdayspa.com
Julene
I want to applaud them, really I do. But these look cheap as hell in person, guaranteed. Did you see the DV line that was sold through UO earlier this year? Bought a pair… and I’ll never wear them. Invest in ONE quality pair of shoes, not four pairs for the same price. The quality (or lack thereof) shines through.
Katie
These are in my Target in Virginia! Totally not my style, but they’re there, nonetheless!
Rin from Books, Trends, and Sweat
I actually think these shoes are…not pretty. I guess they may fit a different style.
Taryn
It’d be really awesome if you included more articles about shoes for girls with larger feet. I, for example, am a size 11. It’s quite difficult to find un-frumpy shoes in sizes larger than 10.

Taryn- I just double-checked, and the shoes mentioned in this article go up to a women’s size 12 and are available here. :)
Dominique
I love Dolce Vita and have several pairs of their boots and shoes. Agree that these tend to be pretty masculine. I like the lace-up boots best. The prices are really good though. I really wish they’d done a tall boot and a more feminine heel or bootie!

WOW just what I was looking for. Came here by searching for dolce vita
