Ahh. I adore.

His work has a very Balenciaga feel, but with a slightly tougher interpretation.

At the same time, his looks feel very uniquely his own. I’m excited for this one!

Although I liked the majority of the post and both lines are beautiful, I do have a comment on something that bothered me.

You mentioned that because, at 19 years old with a fashion line, Pedro “has us all beat at life.” I don’t think that is the most empowering message to send to young college (and high school) students that are working towards something in their lives. Yes, he may have been able to design at age 12. However, as you pointed out, he was born into a situation that made it much easier for him to get where he is today. There are many young people that can draw extremely well, myself included, that do not have the connections and opportunities that he has had.

I’m not trying to diminish his talent, because he obviously is very talented, but to say that he has normal, hard working college students “beat at life” is a little insensitive.

Pedro is the son of designers Reinaldo Lourenço and Gloria Coelho. People here in Brazil love the parents and I’m sure we already love the kid too!
