Summer Sales & Promotions

Shopaholics Anonymous?I love summer for many reasons, but here is the biggest one: I actually have money from June to August. Having a summer job (and mooching off my parents whenever possible) contributes in a big way to my cash flow, which means there’s more money for me to spend on all the clothes, shoes and accessories I want. (And maybe saving a little..)

I think retailers are on to the college student money situation and have started to take advantage. Case and point: My favorite stores always seem to hold tons of sales and promotions during the summer months, which I believe is because they know I have money and want to entice me to spend it. Honestly, I have to say – it’s working.

Check out the latest deals and promotions below, and if you’re trying to save all your paychecks, consider yourself warned.

  • Stock up on summer beauty products at The Body Shop. They are currently offering a sale where you can save up to 75% . Ends July 5th.
  • High-fashion retailer Yoox.com is offering up to an extra 30% off clothing for women and men. They have everything from Marc by Marc Jacobs to D&G. Don’t miss it.
  • Be sure to check out Nordstrom‘s newest sale: Summer Savings. Save 33% or more.
  • Here is the latest LuxuryShoes.com coupon. Good for 35% off already discounted items! Code: DESIGNERSALE. Ends 6/11.
  • Steve Madden is also having a huge shoe sale. Buy 2 or more pairs online and get 20% off the order. In Steve Madden stores, the deal is buy 1 pair, get one pair half off!
