Sponsored: CF Purse Essentials & Revlon + ELLE’s Purse-uit of Power

As every busy girl can attest, our handbags are our lifelines. Whether we’re packing for a day of classes on campus, running to and from extracurricular activities, or just spending the day shopping with friends, our bags hold, well, pretty much everything.
Our friends at Revlon asked us to share our purse must-haves, so we narrowed it down to our top 8 CF handbag essentials: A daily planner (we love this one from Anthropologie), at least one notebook for class, a small wallet for cards (like this Comme Des Garcons one), an iPhone (preferably with a cute Marc Jacobs case), Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain, gum, BE Shine Control Sheets, and a hot pink Sharpie (for underlining notes in style).
Enter to win a $3000 “Power Purse”!
To celebrate The Purse-uit of Power, Revlon and ELLE have teamed up to curate unique designer “power purses” (valued at $3,000 each) that will be “dropped” in a mystery location for YOU to find and win! They’ll also have an instant win game that can be played every day to win fabulous products.
To play the game and enter to win some fantastic prizes, just visit Revlon’s Purse-uit of Power Facebook page!

Essentials? Wallet, pass case (clips to outside of my bag so I don’t have to search for my wallet), BlackBerry, keys, pen. I also try to keep a small notebook, compact mirror, comb, brush, small face cloth (for long lines for the paper towels or driers in washrooms, as well as for spills and such) and my flashcards on me. If I’m going to class I also need my notebooks, clearfiles (I hate binders) and textbooks. While I often have things like lipgloss and nail files in my bag I would never consider them to be essentials.
