Tons of cute, fashionable girls were rocking them with their outfits&#8211; and they looked great! The more I saw them, the more I liked them. Feeling inspired, I purchased my own pair of tan clogs before I returned home to Minnesota.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">While I love living in Minnesota, it isn&#8217;t exactly the style capital of the world, and clogs are considered pretty fashion-forward here! So because of this, at first I felt a bit awkward wearing my new shoes at home. Fortunately, I soon developed a system that worked for me, and let me wear my clogs casually.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">These are the guidelines I follow when wearing clogs&#8230; Check them out if you&#8217;re interested in incorporating this trendy shoe style into your wardrobe!</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Tips for Wearing Clogs<strong><br/> </strong></h3><ul style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em;"><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Get inspired.</strong> Feeling unsure about clogs and how to wear them? If you want height but aren&#8217;t into the classic, chunky bottom that most clogs provide, clog wedges provide a different, often more wearable look. They&#8217;re also easier to walk in than traditional clogs!</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Keep it classic. </strong>Whenever you&#8217;re sporting a trendy or over-the-top item, it&#8217;s a good idea to keep the rest of your look classic and simple. This way, not only will your statement piece (in this case, the clogs) stand out, but you&#8217;ll also avoid looking trend-obsessed and silly.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Try wooden-heeled shoes.</strong> This fall we&#8217;re going to be seeing shoes featuring signature clog details: wooden platform heels and visible studs. I think this trend looks best with a short dress that hits around your mid thigh. A dress with a really full bottom half or lots of material and draping may not be the most flattering choice.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Pair a dress with jeans</strong>. Skinny jeans or jeggings will no doubt look great with most dresses, but a pair of boot cut jeans or even flares can work, too! Flared jeans look best when paired with a dress that is more fitted around its hemline.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Try it with other pants, too</strong>. It might seem tough to pull off, but I promise it&#8217;s easier than it looks! I bid farewell to my loved ones, departed from these great United States, and prepared for a 4 month adventure. My exit was bittersweet, but alas, I will return!</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">However, I did not leave for China empty-handed. I brought an open mind, the swagger of a college kid, and a boatload of clothing. Yes, I found packing light for study abroad challenging. After all, how do you maintain your personal style with limited space AND without sacrificing functionality? To be honest, I have yet to find the answer to this question. But, I have come to a couple of conclusions. <strong>Packing for study abroad is about creating options, making the most out of what little you have, and preparing for unexpected situations. </strong></p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Adventure on a Budget: Becoming the Jacques Cousteau of Your Closet</h3><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">About a month back, I read an interesting <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/22/fashion/22SIXERS.html?_r=1&amp;scp=2&amp;sq=six%20items&amp;st=cse" target="_blank" >article</a> in the New York Times about <a href="http://sixitemsorless.com/" target="_blank" >Six Items or Less</a>, an experiment in budget fashion. For the month of June, people across the world pledged to wear only six items of clothing for 30 days! Though duplicates of the items were allowed for laundry purposes, the task seemed near impossible.</p><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="500" height="306" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DNZFBMuNFio?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="500" height="306" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DNZFBMuNFio?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" ></embed></object></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Over the past few weeks, though, I have tried to piece together how I could incorporate the Six Items or Less challenge into my abroad experience. Because of weather conditions and work obligations, there was no way that I could go 4 months with only 6 items of clothing. But, I realized that I could <strong>make a lot of outfits with a few classic items</strong>.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">So, below, I&#8217;ve detailed my attempt at budget fashion: Three core items, three outfits, three unique situations. Manufactured wear and tear, shiny buttons, and big name teen brands have never caught my attention. Basically, I feel like your shirt should never precede you; your actions should define you. With that in mind, I tried to pack classic, conservative clothes for abroad. After all, there is no need to be running around Beijing with a humor tee on.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">The best weapons in a man&#8217;s arsenal are his tried-and-true favorites. For me, nothing says &#8220;comfort&#8221; like a pair of <strong>jeans</strong>, a <strong>button front shirt</strong>, and a <strong>cotton sweater</strong>. Aside from their comfort, these items are great because they complement each other AND work well as individual pieces. Given almost any situation, spare a wedding reception or job interview, you can get away with wearing a combination of these items.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Look 1: Back to School</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31576" title="What to wear to school for guys" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/guys-school-outfit.jpg" alt="What to wear to school for guys" width="346" height="450" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Products</strong>: Sneakers &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8182" target="_blank" >Finish Line</a>, Belt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8183" target="_blank" >Old Navy</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Dressing for the first day of school is stressful, but factor in a foreign country and you&#8217;ve got yourself some trouble. So my first tip is simple: <strong>be prepared for anything</strong>.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">The outfit above doesn&#8217;t take much planning or thought, but it does work well in many situations. Because of the sweater there is an air of formality, however the plaid pattern of the button front shirt balances this formality out. The sneakers also make the outfit less formal. More importantly, though, they serve a practical purpose: Comfortable shoes are a must while traveling abroad, and Air Max 90&#8242;s are built for sustained walking.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Thus, though the outfit looks simple, it is complex in application. While it serves as a perfect first day of class outfit, it is also well-suited for going out or just exploring while abroad.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Look 2: Singing in the Rain</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31575" title="Rainy day outfit for guys " src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/guys-rain-outfit.jpg" alt="Rainy day outfit for guys " width="373" height="450" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Products</strong>: Boots &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8184" target="_blank" >L.L. Bean</a>, Rain Jacket &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8185" target="_blank" >The North Face</a>, Belt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8186" target="_blank" >Old Navy</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">It&#8217;s a fact of nature: During your tenure abroad, it is going to rain. So while you are packing, you should keep this in mind: <strong>weather is inevitable, but poor planning is your own fault</strong>.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Though I hate the rain, I do love boots. I am not sure why (chalk it up to the rugged appeal they give you) but when given the opportunity, I throw on my all weather boots without hesitation. So, when I purchased a pair of Bean boots last week, I was pumped. Having worn them around these past couple of days, I can honestly say they were worth the money: They&#8217;re very comfortable, keep the water out great, and are also pretty lightweight. All around, I highly recommend them.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">But what good are rain boots without a solid rain jacket? When it comes to the all-important rain coat, I suggest going for something light and easily rolled into a backpack. Also, go muted in terms of color. Your rain jacket should go with everything you own, because clouds don&#8217;t care what your outfit looks like.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Look 3: Night Out</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31574" title="Night out look for guys" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/guys-night-outfit.jpg" alt="Night out look for guys" width="354" height="450" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Products: Blazer &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8187" target="_blank" >Gap</a>, Shoes &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8188" target="_blank" >Bass</a>, Belt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8189" target="_blank" >Old Navy</a>, Tie &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8190" target="_blank" >Brooks Brothers</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Though my mother probably wouldn&#8217;t be happy to hear this, one of the things I&#8217;m most excited to do while abroad is go out. I am a pretty social guy, and the prospect of mingling in a foreign country is already getting my blood flowing. But, I am also aware that I won&#8217;t have the comfort of my closet when I am getting ready to hit the town in Beijing. So, I decided to bring one or two key semi-formal pieces of clothing to spice up my casual wear. The tip here is straightforward: <strong>pack a jacket, but don&#8217;t pack a suit</strong>.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Unless you are going abroad strictly for business, you probably don&#8217;t need to fatten your suitcase with stuffy office wear. If you plan on wearing a jacket when you go out, pack one that is a little unique and off the beaten path. Above, I picked out a brown corduroy blazer. I still haven&#8217;t decided if I love corduroy, but I do like the idea of using it as a fabric between dressy and sloppy.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">As far as shoes are concerned, (and unless you&#8217;re Kanye West), you don&#8217;t want to go out somewhere nice in a pair of sneakers. Ever. When you are abroad, you are already going to stick out, but don&#8217;t perpetuate stereotypes by being the bro king of the bar, running around in his Nike&#8217;s. Go for something classically designed like the Saddle shoe. It looks awesome with jeans and is making a huge comeback internationally as a trendy piece of menswear.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">P.S. A tie is always optional.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">What do you think?</h3><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Were these tips helpful for you (or the guy in your life)? While that is definitely an important day, I realized <strong>there are many other days in that first week that&#8217;ll have you tearing apart your freshly-full closet</strong>!</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Therefore, I wanted to cover three of those days for this article&#8211;<strong>move-in day, the first day of classes, and your first night out</strong>. This way, you can breeze stylishly through your first week at school and reserve your worrying for the important things (like decorating your new room)!</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Move-In Day</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31197" title="What to wear on moving day in college" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/moving-day-fashion.jpg" alt="What to wear on moving day in college" width="502" height="418" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Product Information:</strong> Top: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8020" target="_blank" >Delias.com</a>, Shorts: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8021" target="_blank" >Topshop.com</a>, Sandals: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8022" target="_blank" >Urbanoutfitters.com</a>, Bracelet: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8023" target="_blank" >Jcrew.com</a>, Messenger Bag: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8024" target="_blank" >Asos.com</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Deciding what to wear when you move back in to school can be tough&#8211;<strong>it&#8217;s your chance to make a first impression for the school year, so you want to look great, but you also need to be comfortable enough to lug heavy suitcases</strong>. All that lifting may also make you sweaty and disheveled, factors to consider when doing your hair and makeup.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">I recently saw a friend wearing this <strong>army-style, slightly cropped shirt</strong> and thought it was such a fun piece for a casual day. Paired with dark denim shorts, it&#8217;s a great twist on the trendy military style that will also be ultra comfortable and airy. I love these sandals as well; besides looking great, they will stay on securely even if you are running up and down stairs.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">This chain-link bracelet is the perfect accessory, as the detailing continues the look&#8217;s tough girl vibe, while the pearls add a feminine touch. For hair, I similarly went for a style that will add some girlish glamour, choosing a <strong>sweet, simple pulled-back hairstyle</strong> that will look even better as it gets slightly mussed from unpacking.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Finally, be sure to carry a <strong>sturdy purse</strong> for move-in day and keep it on you at all times; this will ensure you keep your new keys, ID, documents, and other dorm essentials safe!</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">First Day of Classes</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31198" title="What to wear on the first day of class" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/first-day-of-class-outfit.jpg" alt="What to wear on the first day of class" width="440" height="453" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Product Information: </strong>Dress: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8025" target="_blank" >Theoutnet.com</a>, Blazer: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8026" target="_blank" >Spiegel.com</a>, Necklace: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8027" target="_blank" >Asos.com</a>, Wedges: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8028" target="_blank" >Gap.com</a>, Socks: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8029" target="_blank" >Madewell.com</a>, Eye Refresher: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8030" target="_blank" >Yesstyle.com</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">For the first day of classes, go for a look that shows you are <strong>focused but also fashionable!</strong> First, since purple is one of the <a href="http://www.collegefashion.net/trends/back-to-school-fashion-guide-fall-2010-color-trends/" target="_self" >hottest colors for fall</a>, go for a vibrant dress in a purplish/indigo hue. Top that off with a smart boyfriend blazer for a classic look, and then toss on a mixed chain necklace for an updated twist on a classic.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">One of the fall fashion statements I&#8217;m most excited about is <a href="http://www.collegefashion.net/would-you-wear/would-you-wear-thigh-high-socks/" target="_self" >over-the-knee socks</a> worn with dresses, so I figured since the first day of school signifies the start of fall, it was an ideal time to try it! I went for ribbed gray socks, paired with nude wedges, as the gray-ish, floral-adorned bow on the shoes ties in perfectly with the socks. This look is a great way to <strong>bring summer favorites (like a tank dress and open-toe wedges) into the fall</strong>!</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">For beauty, go with whatever hair and makeup you are most comfortable in so you can feel completely confident and unconcerned during class. I do suggest using an <strong>eye-brightener</strong> before your makeup, though, since waking up early for the first day of classes may leave you with puffy, tired eyes!</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">First Night Out</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-31196" title="Fashion for your first night out in college" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/college-night-out-fashion.jpg" alt="Fashion for your first night out in college" width="475" height="489" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Product Information:</strong> Top: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8031" target="_blank" >Ardenb.com</a>, Jeans: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8032" target="_blank" >Ae.com</a>, Curling Iron: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8033" target="_blank" >Ulta.com</a>, Ring: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8034" target="_blank" >Urbanoutfitters.com</a>, Eyeshadows: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8035" target="_blank" >Sephora.com</a>, Heels: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8036" target="_blank" >Endless.com</a>, Self-Tanner: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=8037" target="_blank" >Yesstyle.com</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">There&#8217;s nothing as exciting as your first night out with your new roomies and all of the college friends you haven&#8217;t seen in months! So this week&#8217;s challenge dares you to <strong>combine two distinct styles to create a new look</strong>. Though this can be tricky to get the hang of at first, the following tips will help you pull it off in a way that makes you look fashion-forward yet effortless.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Ready to take the challenge? If you combine two styles that are similar (such as girly and glam), the purpose of the challenge is defeated.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Look for contrast.</strong> Courtney Love did it in the &#8217;90s by pairing lacy slip dresses with tough biker boots and leather jackets. Go for extremes; try wearing a geeky graphic tee with a floral skirt and heels, or a pair of thick-framed <a href="http://www.collegefashion.net/would-you-wear/would-you-wear-non-prescription-glasses/" target="_self" >non-prescription glasses</a> with a polished polo.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Experiment with price ranges.</strong> &#8220;High-Low&#8221; fashion, turned into an art form by style bloggers and celebs alike, is both wildly popular and essential for girls on a budget. There&#8217;s something very &#8220;street-chic&#8221; about pairing a designer dress you saved for months to buy with a pair of cloth mary-janes purchased in Chinatown.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Mix it up by occasion.</strong> Rock a glittery pair of stilettos with a basic t-shirt, or a fancy dress with a more casual pair of shoes if you&#8217;re feeling daring!</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Wear with confidence.</strong> You may run into individuals who don&#8217;t yet understand the idea of fashion freedom. With scorching August temperatures still going strong, now is the perfect time to show a little extra skin.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">I know many of you think crop tops are hard to wear, but I&#8217;m here to prove you wrong: They can be versatile AND flattering when styled correctly. Read on for my <strong>tips for wearing crop tops, as well as some sample outfits</strong> to get your inspiration going!</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Tips for Wearing Crop Tops</h3><ul style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em;"><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Pick a length.</strong> Crop tops come in a variety of shapes and lengths, and depending on how daring you are, you can pick a top that shows only a sliver of your stomach or one that bares your belly. Daring? Try a top that hits above your belly button (as seen above). More conservative? Opt for something that grazes the top of your jeans. When picking the length of your top, you should also consider what you&#8217;ll be wearing it with, and where you&#8217;re going!</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Pick and choose the rest of your look wisely.</strong> Crop tops are cute, but they can either look amazing or awful, depending on the outfit you wear them with. Each piece you pair with your top will evoke a different look. A higher waisted bottom paired with a crop top, for example, will limit the amount of skin you&#8217;re showing and can actually look sophisticated and fashion-forward.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Add a tank.</strong> Not into showing your tummy in a tiny top? Don&#8217;t! You can still get that crop-top vibe by wearing one with a tank underneath. You can match your tank to your crop top, try a neutral, go for a color contrast, or just wear a nude tank underneath for the illusion of skin.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Keep it classy.</strong> This is a perfect end-of-summer trend to try since, after all, crop tops really aren&#8217;t appropriate for work or class, and they&#8217;re a bit odd and out of place for a trip to the grocery store! They&#8217;re perfect, however, for the gym, the pool, and <a href="http://www.collegefashion.net/shopping/outfits-under-100-3-looks-for-a-summer-music-festival/" target="_self" >music festivals</a>. Style your crop top right, and you can even wear it to a party or on a date. Just keep a fun, casual vibe in mind and consider your venue and you&#8217;ll be good to go.</li><li style="list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;list-style-image: url(http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/themes/cftheme/images/pink-star.png); margin-left: 15px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px;"><strong>Try it out!</strong> Still afraid to incorporate crop tops into your summer wardrobe? Try wearing one on the beach over your bathing suit! It&#8217;s an effortless, but totally tend-conscious choice that will have people talking! Still not convinced? Layer, layer, layer! You can spice up a long-sleeved tee or a tight dress by wearing a cropped top over it as a layering piece.</li></ul><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Three Outfits for Inspiration</h3><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">1. Admittedly, I haven&#8217;t written much down. Sure, meeting your freshman roommate is nerve racking. And, there is no feeling worse than realizing the iPhone you just bought is already out-of-date. But, for most guys, nothing comes close to the stress of journeying into the depths of a closet.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Except, of course, for one monumental situation that every human of the male genus dreads from the moment he hits puberty: <strong>meeting his significant other&#8217;s parents and/or family.</strong></p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Stress City. Population: Your Parents</h3><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">My girlfriend&#8217;s parents are sweet, down-to-earth people. They always make me feel welcome in their home and, subsequently, we get along well. But, even though there is a nice level of comfort between us, I always make the effort to look presentable before I walk into their house. For me, it is a matter of respect: I dress tastefully because I want them to want me to date their daughter. I want them to approve of me.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Now, I am not saying that every guy should show up to his significant other&#8217;s house in a three-piece suit (even though that would be kind of funny). What I am saying is that <strong>meeting your significant other&#8217;s parents, or just spending time with them in general, is a chance to dress to impress.</strong> And to truly impress them, it is pivotal that you capture the essence of your style and transform it into something that is both fashionable and tasteful.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">The main point of today&#8217;s article is that <strong>you don&#8217;t have to sacrifice your individuality to impress you girlfriend or boyfriend&#8217;s parents</strong>. It&#8217;s easy to look tasteful and still look like yourself. So, pass these tips along and help a brotha out. Trust me, no matter how much we deny it, we are terrified to meet the parents.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Look 1: Grab and Go</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-30580" title="Grab and Go" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Grab-and-Go.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="559" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Products:</strong> Jeans &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7717" target="_blank" >Gap</a>, Belt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7718" target="_blank" >Zumiez</a>, Shoes &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7719" target="_blank" >Bass</a>, Sweater &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7720" target="_blank" >American Apparel</a>, Socks &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7721" target="_blank" >J.Crew</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">As a participant in American dorm life, I realize that picking up your significant other from their parent’s house is not always standard procedure. In fact, most people try to avoid it… But, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be prepared, just in case.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Personally, I find picking out an outfit for the “grab and go” situation especially challenging. You want to be put-together, but you don’t want to look like you&#8217;re trying. And, to make things more difficult, you need to look good for your date. Therefore, you need to strive for a healthy balance of class and style.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Fortunately, it is not hard to find this balance. <strong>You just have to KISS, or Keep It Simple, Silly</strong>.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">I know what you are thinking…“Didn’t my eighth grade English teacher tell me this?” Yeah, probably, but it doesn’t matter: KISS is an acronym that is applicable to just about anything life throws at you, especially fashion dilemmas.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">In the outfit above, there aren’t many bells and whistles. No collars. No ties. Nothing to suggest that you are trying too hard. But, the subtleties of the outfit evoke an air of refinement. Simple, classic jeans suggest an acquaintance with the traditional; they lack manufactured wear, artificial fading, or jewels on the back pockets. Those amenities attract negative attention. The basic, non-v-neck sweater is slightly more than casual, but, because of its trimmer fit, still fashionable.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">The gray suede bucks, however, are the center of the outfit. Your shoes say a lot about you, and when you replace sneakers with a more formal shoe, you exude sophistication. The shoes I chose aren&#8217;t dress shoes, though. No tassels, no polished leather, nothing that your dad would wear to the office. They are classy, but not over-the-top.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">After all, when you enter the thunder dome that is your significant other’s home, &#8220;classy, but not over-the-top&#8221; is exactly what you want to shoot for in your outfit. Show that you are serious, but let them know that you are human. Now it&#8217;s time for the fun part!</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">The family dinner is an important event in any relationship. You and your significant other may dread it, but you both know it is going to happen. So, go into it with a level head and remember this tip: <strong>Make sure your clothes fit</strong>, in the literal and figurative sense.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Let’s face it: most parents want to know EVERYTHING about the guy their child is dating. Thus, when the family dinner rolls around, a boyfriend becomes a prisoner of war facing stringent interrogation. So, for this event, choose comfort over fashion. Wear clothes that you could spend three hours sitting in, because you probably will.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">However, although comfort is important, your clothes should also fit the setting. Though I would normally suggest a v-neck underneath the shirt above, at the dinner table there is no reason to show unnecessary chest. Rock a crew neck, and you&#8217;ll be golden. Also, it&#8217;s important to choose colors that fit the setting. The light gray/dark blue combination above isn’t very “edgy,” but you are not trying to be “edgy” or “trendy.” You are trying to look like an adult.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Finally, you should address the formality of the setting, but not go overboard. A cardigan replaces a blazer perfectly at the dinner table (and if the restaurant or the guests (grandparents etc.) call for it, a cardigan can definitely be worn with a tie). I admit, I have never worn penny loafers, but a friend of mine swears by them, and I can see why: A well-polished, deep brown loafer catches eyes. Loafers imply that you work hard with their classic collegiate quality, but when worn without socks, they can be playful.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Look 3: Where the Party At?</h3><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="size-full wp-image-30585 aligncenter" title="Formal" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Formal.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="535" /></p><p style="text-align: center;text-align: center;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Products: </strong>Blazer &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7727" target="_blank" >American Living</a>, Shirt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7728" target="_blank" >Banana Republic</a>, Tie &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7729" target="_blank" >J.Crew</a>, Khakis &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7730" target="_blank" >Dockers</a>, Belt &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7731" target="_blank" >Gap</a>, Socks &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7732" target="_blank" >J.Crew</a>, Shoes &#8211; <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.collegefashion.net/link.php?id=7733" target="_blank" >Zappos</a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">So, you aced the grab and go and survived dinner… Now what? Dinner party, you say? Or was that a Christmas party? Frankly, it doesn’t matter. Formal wear is simple to execute if you are well-informed. And lucky for you all, it is my favorite segment of men’s fashion.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Here is my best tip when it comes to formal wear: there is no such thing as being overdressed</strong>. The beauty of men’s formal wear is that it is all about layering. Therefore, if you enter a party and find your self overdressed, start stripping. Take your jacket off, lose the tie, unbutton one or two from your collar, and boom &#8211; you just went from formal to semi-formal.</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">So, the next time you are going to a formal event with your significant other&#8217;s family, pick up a navy jacket (it is really the only blazer you need to own), rock a pair of khakis, and make sure to tie your own tie. You will get compliments on your outfit the entire night.</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">What do you think?</h3><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;"><strong>Any funny stories from when you first met your significant other&#8217;s family? Not to mention, borrowing clothes from someone else is fun, and you&#8217;ll feel a little mischievous knowing your new favorite piece came from a boy! The only real tip I have for you is to not pair too many of these items together at once&#8211;we&#8217;re going for chic, not shacking up chic!</p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">I&#8217;ve compiled a list of <strong>5 ideas to get you started </strong>when rummaging through the favorite guy in your life&#8217;s closet. Happy hunting :)</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Ideas</h3><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">T-Shirts</h4><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-30439" title="boy-closet-shirt" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/boy-closet-shirt.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="376" /></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Ahh, the classic boyfriend tee. The great thing about men&#8217;s t-shirts is that often they are cut straighter and longer than many girl&#8217;s styles, making them perfect to pair with your favorite skinny jeans. The more cozy and worn in, the better!</p><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">Outerwear</h4><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-30440" title="boy-closet-outerwear" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/boy-closet-outerwear.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="522" /></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Nothing is as effortlessly chic as wearing a top from a boy&#8217;s closet. Be on the lookout for a blazer, cardigan, knit sweater, or dress shirt. Don&#8217;t worry if it&#8217;s a little big! Be sure to pair a boy&#8217;s top with a skirt, dress, or tighter cut jeans, and wear it with confidence!</p><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">Accessories</h4><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-30441" title="boy-closet-accessories" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/boy-closet-accessories.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="448" /></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Your BGF&#8217;s (best guy friend) or little brother&#8217;s closet is the perfect place to find accessories to give your outfit edge. Personally, I love men&#8217;s watches, belts, and sunglasses. Be on the lookout for hats, too; I snagged my favorite beanie from my BGF. It was a little too big for my head, so I pinned the back so it&#8217;s perfectly slouchy, similar to the beanies often rocked by fashion blogger <a title="rumi" href="http://www.fashiontoast.com/2010/02/status-quo.html" >Rumi Neely</a> of <a href="http://www.fashiontoast.com" >FashionToast</a>.</p><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">Grooming Products</h4><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-30442" title="boy-closet-beauty" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/boy-closet-beauty.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="314" /></a></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">Sometimes, the only thing that will soothe an irritated face or tame flyaway hair can be found in a boy&#8217;s bathroom! No shaving cream is thicker than those made for men, and those tiny scissors your dad uses to tame unruly hair can make perfect eyebrow trimmers. Boy&#8217;s cologne is fun to experiment with as well&#8211;Adidas Moves for Men is my personal favorite, it smells perfectly grapefruity with hints of black pepper.</p><h4 style="font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;font-style: italic; font-size: 13px; color: #000; font-weight: normal;">Lucky Extras</h4><p class="center" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;text-align: center; padding: 10px 0px 10px 0px;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-30443" title="boy-closet-lucky" src="http://www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/boy-closet-lucky.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="330" /></p><p style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5em; text-align: justify;">If you&#8217;re really lucky, a boy in your life will be around the same size as you. Make the most of this situation by borrowing a pair of jeans, a worn out polo, a pair of shoes, or a pair of shorts for the extremely adventurous look.  A boy&#8217;s polo is my favorite&#8211;is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of girl&#8217;s polos are cut too short and wide? Pair it with a broken-in pair of jeans and your favorite boots for a look reminiscent of Serena in the Gossip Girl books (<a href="http://www.collegefashion.net/fashion-tips/how-to-dress-like-serena-van-der-woodsen/" >TV show Serena&#8217;s style</a> is a little different than the original).</p><h3 style="color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;color: #FF00B1; font-size: 14px;">Rocked the Challenge?
