Sage – Sorry it’s taken me so long, but here are the ingredients I could find. For some reason, the ingredients weren’t printed on the body wash or lotion, but the hand lotion did have the ingredients listed. Here they are:

i’ve never really had the need to buy stuff like this..
i get SO much out of extra virgin olive oil. it has anti-inflammatory properties.. so if you use it on your skin, it keeps it so soft and it’ll keep you from getting wrinkles = ]
and you’d think it’d make your skin greasy, but it doesn’t! it makes it all glowy and pretty. and you can add some sugar and exfoliate! i’ve even put it on my scalp in the winter because it completely saves a dry scalp. you can get SO much out of stuff that is hands down, no question about it natural. i don’t really buy in to the whole “we’ll call it natural for an extra 5 bucks” thing.
just thought i’d share.. haha.
but i’ll probably end up getting the lip balm. i can never get enough!!

Oh I know. I was just responding to where you said you didn’t see me arguing against leather, and I wanted to explain why I didn’t. Obviously everyone has a right to their own opinion about this kind of thing – I think it’s annoying when people push their agendas on you. (My vegetarian little sister used to drive me crazy before I was vegan talking about how chicken was “dead bird”!)

Anyway, I agree with you about chemicals. It’s just an easy way to describe things that otherwise aren’t pronounceable on labels.

Either way, I’m totally up for more discussion about this stuff too, and I didn’t mean to sound too defensive in my last comment!

I never said nor do I think that you’re pushing your views on anyone, Zephyr. I’m just providing healthy discussion regarding the questions you asked, that’s all.

I also find that the word “chemical” is very misleading. The reality is that every single thing ever is a chemical! But the word had been given such a bad reputation that any time we see that word, we tend automatically assume that the thing at hand is bad, which is rarely the case.

I’m very interested in topics like these. If you ever want to discuss things in more depth, post or send me an email. =)

Sage – There are ingredient lists on the bottles. I can try to type some up and post them here in the comments later today! There are lots of ingredients I can’t pronounce, so I’m sure they do contain some chemicals.. probably just not as bad ones as some other products.

Lauren – That’s really good to know, thanks for the info! :)

Jenny – I’m a vegan, so I don’t believe in leather, fur, eating animals, or using any part of an animal in beauty products. Of course, I am not saying every product I use is 100% vegan or that I don’t own anything that’s made out of leather. And also, I don’t push my opinions on everyone on this site. I think it’s up to everyone to choose what they think about issues like this and buy based on those preferences.
