While I do care about having volume on the back of my head, I am MOST curious as to how you keep the front part of your hair up like that! I notice some girls have their bangs up out of their faces looking like a wave towards the back of their heads, but if I were to imitate that look, I would have to use a ton of hairspray throughout the whole day! HOW do you keep your hair out of your face like that!?

Great article!

I adore Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves hairspray. I spray a bunch of it on after letting my hair air dry for about 10 minutes and then I either pull my hair back into a bun or let it hang loose. Pulling it into a bun creates very beautiful waves though that make the look more dramatic. I'm not sure if this works on all hair types, but it works for my thick, naturally wavy hair.

These days there isn't really such a thing as "dated" when it comes to hair styles anymore, as everyone kind of seems to have their own style. ( which is how it should be ) There definitely is a such thing as overdoing though.....for example most of us won't walk around with a bee hive hair do! There is nothing wrong with wanting to have volume, or hair that's a little bit more full, after all flat and just hanging there is kind of boring, and really isn't a flattering look on everyone, and I'm one of those people it definitely does NOT compliment! Unfortunately this bump it didn't work well for me either when I tried it though....it kept sliding out of my hair just as quick as I thought i had it secured down properly! I tried it several different times, and several different ways and each time I had no success with it! I think they need to make something similar that is maybe a bit smaller, and actually has a clip or something on it to secure it down to stay in place,

My hair is a medium length and it worked just fine and he more I try different styles and hair-parting techniques the better it looks. Definitely try it and don’t give up if you don’t master the styles immediately.

I agree with Bailey, if done properly it comes out super cute but if not you look quite foolish!! I have blonde and very thin hair and the little bumps on the top of the bump-it's shows through and looks really bad!! But for people with thicker hair it looks much better!!

Received it and loving it. There are actually two sizes in the same package. I used the large one two days ago, and received compliments at work from coworkers.

Just bought one from http://www.volumehairbase.com/ Can't wait to try it. I've tried the bumpit before, but found that it moved around too much since it was plastic. I've also tried other velcro products and they do stick very well!

I'll update once I receive it!

I tried, them but the "bump" looks totally un-natural.....very disappointed with the results. I tired this new thing that is like a way better version of the bumpit....the website is www.volumehairbase.com. It's made of velcro so it sticks on really well and it doesn't fall off at all!! It's also like a hump-shaped thing, so it looks really natural, and it comes in 2 sizes, a small one and a big one. You can also use it when u have your hair down, or tied up in a ponytail, or half-up.....super easy to use....u can use hairspray if u want, like at night-time, but in the day-time I don't need any. I think it's made in Japan, but you can buy it in Canada or the US....I totallyyyy luv it!!!!!
