About Quyen
A California girl with the typical penchant for Starbucks, beaches, and fashion... Naturally gifted with the ability to make any fashion product sound like the a fundamental neccessity required for basic everyday operation. Unfortunately I, like many of you, live on a college student's meagre purse and thus I have to cut down my "essentials" to what's really the bare essentials: Shelter, food, water, etc., and one or two large buttery-soft calfskin leather designer satchels. That would be in order of increasing importance. A transfer student on the verge of leaving her California Community College, I'm making my way onwards and upwards while combating all the financial, academic, and sartorial demands of college life. Cheers!

5 Tips on Shopping for Substitutes

Fashion is commonly considered glamorous and carefree. The phrase “a day of shopping” instantly triggers images of lazy Sundays, shopping bags in one hand and an iced latte in the other. Well, I’ll admit to the occasional lazy Sunday, but just as often as I’m strolling around like Holly Golightly at Tiffany’s, I’m also frowning [...]
